What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. Some are needed for a site to work; others help the owner understand how the site is used. Under Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019, we only use optional cookies with your consent.
Cookies we use
| Cookie | Type | Purpose | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
| doxah_consent | Necessary | Remembers your cookie choices so we don't ask on every page. | 6 months |
| _ga, _ga_* | Analytics (optional) | Google Analytics 4: counts visits and shows which pages are useful. It does not tell us who you are. Only set if you accept analytics. | Up to 2 years |
| Marketing cookies | Marketing (optional) | Not used today. If we advertise in future, these would measure whether our adverts work. Only set if you accept marketing. | As set by the provider |
Google Analytics is provided by Google LLC and may process data outside Kenya under Google's safeguards. See how Google uses data from sites that use its services.
Your choices
When you first visit, you can accept all cookies, reject the optional ones, or choose by category. Rejecting optional cookies does not affect how the site works.
You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you withdraw consent for analytics, we remove the Google Analytics cookies from your browser.
Other storage
If you switch between light and dark mode, your browser remembers that choice locally. It contains no personal information and is never sent to us. The site assistant (chat) runs in your browser and stores nothing.
Our fonts, images and videos are served from our own website, not from third parties. The WhatsApp button is a plain link: nothing from WhatsApp loads until you choose to tap it.
Changes
If we change the cookies we use, we will update this page and ask for your choices again. Questions? Email info@doxahsystems.com or read our privacy notice.
